Roots Challenge Materials

School Implementation - To facilitate ease of purchase and to reflect the structure of the program within a school setting (whether in a single classroom or school-wide), the materials for the Latin and Greek Roots Challenge are generally organized into the following components:

• Classroom Board Kits
• Early Elementary Root Poster (EERP) Kits
  
• ​Challenge Exercise Workbooks
  

Home School or Individual Use - Individual items can also be purchased unbundled from these kits for use either in schools or at home.

A Three-Year Cycle - The Roots Challenge is also organized in a three-year cycle, with each year containing 75 primary Latin or Greek roots, prefixes, or suffixes.  All Roots Challenge materials are color-coded by year.  When schools complete the third year of the program they cycle back to Year 1.

The Teacher's Program Guide contains all Constructed Word Lists for the year with special cross-referencing for Constructed Words that appear somewhere else in the three-year cycle.
